The Hecla Triathlon will take place in Hecla, Manitoba, July 18, 2026. This race started in 2015 and has continued to grow and evolve each year since, and is home to Manitoba's only Long Course race.
The event is a popular destination race and may also have you feeling like you are somewhere outside of Manitoba. This year’s event will be the 2027 Canadian Age Group Long Course Triathlon and Aquabike, where the top age group female and male athletes can make their way onto the Canadian National Team.
The Hecla Triathlon will not disappoint, with tremendous athlete support to ensure the day goes smoothly!

The swim course is protected by the marina, guarding from what can be an unpredictable Lake Winnipeg, with only a short run to transition T1.

The bike course is flat and fast, lock and load, and keep your eyes open for wildlife!
